Welcome to the MarsWars development site
MarsWars is an Unreal Tournament 2004 modification to remake the classic title, Red Faction.
It's a first person shooter, played in gametypes such as DM, CTF, RailArena and many more.
Main focus is the gameplay. We're trying as hard as we can to give you the perfect gameflow you're expecting in a high quality mod such as Mars Wars.
Be prepared for the upcoming version of Mars Wars.
It's going to put everything onto the next level. Online play is much more stable and weapons will be absolutely lag-free! In Mars Wars you can expect to experience one of the best FPS-multiplayer experiences ever seen in a mod.
Try out Mars Wars 2.0 today, and please stay tuned for the next version which is going to be released very soon.

Hello Mars Wars Fans,
time for another screenshot check!
Right on the first screenshot you can see one of the many new and improved character animations, Parker holding the Pistol - in a more realistic manner than before.
I've taken care of many animations the last few nights. Looks more solid and natural now :)
If you like what you see, please be patient, (I know waiting sucks) and who knows, it may be done sooner than you think. :) Also, if you have any friends that own UT2004, why not tell them about Mars Wars and show them your insider knowledge? :)

| Revealing first race map in MW2.1 |
 Hello Mars Wars fans.
Progress is good enough to show you some screenshots of a new and first racing map which will be in MW v2.1!
Target in this map is to drive a Jeep through a course full of obstacles.
But the important thing is to reach the finish in the best time! You'll be able to compare your own driving skills with friends online. Large scoreboards at frequently placed checkpoints in the level are telling the people who does it best.Want to see one of the obstacles?

| As I had a time frame for a release of the new site today, I decided to throw on a quick banner and make the site live. Keep in mind the banner will be remade shortly. But for now, you all get to look at what has been in the workshop for the MarsWars site's new look. |
I have something really funny and new in the development of Mars Wars 2.1.
It is still under testing, and I need to be absolutely sure if it is fully compatible with
online games.
Until then I'll keep details secret, just make sure you keep yourself updated by checking
this site or the Moddb more often. :)
